Death By Golf, by Gregg Kreutz.
Dunedin Showcase Theatre and director Rick Kastel are pleased to announce auditions for their October 2026 production of Death By Golf by playwright Gregg Kreutz. The auditions will be held
- Monday, August 3
- Tuesday, August 4
Both auditions are at 7:00 PM at the Dunedin Community Center 1920 Pinehurst Rd. Dunedin, and will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring a resume and head shot if available. The show runs October 2-4, 2026.
The play is directed by Rick Kastel.
The cast of characters includes:
- Grandpa, 50+. Scrappy old-timer. A good hearted soul who is not as befuddled as he first appears.
- Ashley, 25-30. A little frantic, a little impulsive. She's bright, but life has pushed her around so much that her judgement's questionable.
- Muriel, 30s+. A serious minded attorney, not above looking out for number one.
- Tony, 25-30. Subject of a five state manhunt. Anxious.
- Prescott, 25-30. Articulate, resourceful, charming, homicidal. He's become manically obsessed with hitting it big.
Tony and Prescott are both performed by the same actor.
